Stop Chatting With AI and Start Getting Work Done

Quick Read TL;DR

If you already use Claude or ChatGPT but feel like you’re constantly copying, pasting and explaining the same things, the Claude Code Accelerator is worth a look. Alec Johnson takes the intimidating “coding” label out of Claude Code and shows how it can be used for real business work — even if you’re not a developer. I know Alec, I like his work, and this is one of those programmes I’m happy to recommend.

Claude Code Accelerator: Is This More Than Just Another AI Course?

I’ve been playing around with AI for long enough to have seen plenty of AI courses, tools and “revolutionary” workflows come and go.

So when I recommend something, I’m looking for a bit more than hype.

The Claude Code Accelerator from Alec Johnson caught my attention because it tackles a problem I’ve increasingly noticed with AI: we’re getting very good at talking to AI, but we’re not always getting AI to actually do the work.

And that’s the interesting bit.

Alec is a friend, I’ve followed his work for a while, and I genuinely like what he does. So there’s a personal recommendation here, but I’ve also looked closely at what he’s actually offering.

Claude Code Isn’t Just For Coders

This is probably the biggest misconception about Claude Code.

The name makes it sound like something designed exclusively for developers sitting in front of a terminal writing software.

It isn’t.

Claude Code is designed to work with your actual files and workflows, rather than simply producing another answer inside a chat window. Anthropic describes it as an agentic coding tool capable of reading and editing files, running tests and working with command line tools. Anthropic

But Alec’s approach takes that idea somewhere particularly interesting for solopreneurs and small business owners.

The Claude Code Accelerator is specifically aimed at people who already use AI but want to move beyond constantly starting another chat, repeating their instructions and manually moving the resulting work into the place where it belongs. Take One Tech

That’s a very different proposition from learning how to code.

What The Claude Code Accelerator Actually Does

The programme runs for seven live weeks, starting 4 November 2026.

The idea isn’t simply to teach you what Claude Code is.

It’s to help you actually build a working AI workflow around your own business.

According to the programme outline, you’ll work towards:

  • Getting Claude Code installed and properly configured
  • Understanding Claude, Projects, Cowork and Claude Code
  • Giving Claude persistent context about your business
  • Getting work completed directly in the appropriate files
  • Building your first small business tool
  • Developing an AI workflow that improves over time

There are also live sessions, workbooks, recordings and lifetime access to the Digital Stage Network community. Take One Tech

That last point is important.

This isn’t positioned as “watch seven videos and good luck.”

It’s an implementation programme.

Why I Think This Is Interesting

I’ve always liked technology that removes friction rather than technology that simply gives you another thing to learn.

And that’s what appeals to me about this.

Most people don’t actually need another AI chatbot.

They need to stop doing the repetitive stuff around the chatbot.

Copying.

Pasting.

Re explaining.

Moving documents around.

Finding information from previous conversations.

Starting the same workflow from scratch.

Claude Code is increasingly capable of operating across those sorts of workflows, and Anthropic has continued adding capabilities designed for longer, more autonomous tasks. Anthropic

The Accelerator is essentially Alec saying:

“Let me show you how to actually use this.”

Who Is The Claude Code Accelerator For?

I’d look at this if you’re a:

  • Solopreneur
  • Small business owner
  • Consultant
  • Creator
  • Digital marketer
  • Online business owner
  • Existing Claude or ChatGPT user

You don’t need to be a developer.

In fact, the programme specifically says you don’t need to know how to code. You need to already be reasonably comfortable using AI and be prepared to spend the seven weeks learning a different way of working. Take One Tech

That makes this considerably more interesting to me than a traditional Claude Code course for developers.

The Numbers

The first cohort is being offered at a founding member price of $297.

Future cohorts are listed at $497.

The programme includes seven live sessions, session workbooks, recordings and lifetime community access. There is also a 100% satisfaction guarantee subject to the programme’s stated conditions. Take One Tech

So if you’ve been wondering whether Claude Code training is worth paying for, this is one of the more practical approaches I’ve seen.

My Take

I’m going to keep this one simple.

I know Alec. I like Alec’s work. And I recommend the Claude Code Accelerator.

Not because Claude Code is the latest shiny AI thing.

But because I think we’re moving from AI that answers questions towards AI that actually participates in getting the work done.

That’s a pretty significant shift.

And if you’re already using Claude or ChatGPT every day, the next question probably isn’t:

“How do I use AI?”

It’s:

“How much more could I get AI to actually do?”

That’s exactly the question this programme is designed to explore.
