My Rant Engine – Intelligent rebellion.
You ever notice how some people journal?
Gratitude lists.
Affirmations.
Vision boards with sunsets and Labradors.
Yeah… nah.
I’ve got a Rant Engine.
It fires up whenever something pokes the bear.
What Pisses Me Off
Lazy thinking.
Groupthink dressed up as “strategy.”
“Best practice” that’s just copied mediocrity.
People chasing Bigger. Better. Best. like it’s a religion.
And don’t get me started on busy.
Busy isn’t productive.
Busy is camouflage.
If you’ve read my stuff before, you know… I fill my time. I’m not busy. There’s a difference.
What Inspires Me
Quiet competence.
People building quietly in the background.
Someone who actually reads the manual.
Systems that hum without noise.
The bloke or sheila who figures it out instead of complaining about it.
That’s electric.
Questions I Can’t Turn Off
- Why do we accept things the way they are?
- Who benefits from this being complicated?
- What would this look like if it was simple?
- What’s the leverage point everyone’s ignoring?
These questions are petrol on the rant.
Deep Social Stuff (The Bit People Avoid)
We’ve normalised distraction.
We reward noise.
We confuse visibility with value.
Social media made everyone a broadcaster.
Very few became thinkers.
And yet… the tools have never been better.
You can build a business from a laptop in Bali.
You can reach the world from your kitchen table.
You can create leverage that used to require a building and a payroll.
So why are most people still stuck?
How Things Are Possible
Because someone asked:
“What if we didn’t do it that way?”
That’s it.
Every system, every platform, every “overnight success” started with someone poking the rules.
Under the hood, it’s always:
- Clarity
- Simplicity
- Consistency
- Leverage
No magic. Just mechanics.
What Makes This Work
Energy.
Rant energy is raw fuel.
It cuts through politeness.
It exposes nonsense.
It forces clarity.
Anger, when refined, becomes insight.
Sarcasm, when aimed well, becomes truth serum.
The trick?
Channel it. Don’t spray it.

How To Build Your Own Rant Engine
- Notice what annoys you.
- Ask why it exists.
- Follow the thread until it reveals a system.
- Fix the system.
- Teach what you learned.
That’s content.
That’s leverage.
That’s influence without begging for attention.
I don’t rant because I’m grumpy. I rant because I care.
If something winds you up… good.
There’s probably a business model hiding inside it.
So tell me…
What’s your Rant Engine running on right now?
