I’d Rather Be Broke Than Poor

There was a time when I thought broke and poor meant the same thing.

Now I see them very differently.

Being broke is about your bank balance. It can change next week, next month, or after your next good idea.

Being poor is a mindset.

It’s believing there are no opportunities.
It’s thinking someone else owes you success.
It’s giving up before you’ve even started.

I’ve met people with almost no money who were rich in curiosity, generosity, ideas, and determination. They were broke, but they were building something.

I’ve also met people with plenty of money who were poor in spirit. Every problem was someone else’s fault. Every opportunity had an excuse attached to it.

Money comes and goes.

Your mindset is what creates the next opportunity.

I’d rather be broke with hope than wealthy with no purpose.

Because if you’ve still got your curiosity, your willingness to learn, and the courage to keep moving, you’re never truly poor.

Question for you:

If you had to choose just one, would you rather be broke… or poor?

Now that I like you, let me send you updates....
